So.... who's ready for some cool mornings??

GFS keeps showing 40s Wednesday and Thursday morning. Euro shows seasonable 50s.

This is latest GFS for Wednesday 8am. Those 30s might hurt some crops north and west of us.

LOL! I say the same about you winter lovers. It looks like it's shaping up to be a cooler day today, the heat is gone.

lol. Without getting into the whole debate again, there's only so much you can take off in the heat or so much time to be in water. I like to take healthy deep fresh breaths and nobody can do that inside a bowl of soup.

I dont mind 85 if the humidity or dewpoints were under 30. Unfortunetly we rarely see that in CT

On a more "refreshing" note...

I'm impressed at the consistancy of the models now showing we might actually struggle past 60s coming up. I think we'll peak into the 70s but most of the day might be in the 60s which would be cool for June.

I finally found a way to convert into Farenheight! Check out the temps Euro says coming up

WINDSOR LOCKS: 92°
HARTFORD: 89°
MERIDEN: 87°
WILLIMANTIC: 89°
DANBURY: 88°
BRIDGEPORT/SIKORSKI: 86°
OXFORD: 84°
CHESTER: 84°
NEW HAVEN/TWEED: 85°
GROTON/NEW LONDON: 77°

Last 4 Days:

Bridgeport,CT(BDR)
May 29: 75°
May 30: 89°
May 31: 91°
June 1: 86°

Windsor Locks,CT(BDL)
May 29: 81°
May 30: 92°
May 31: 95°
June 1: 92°
As evidenced by the "Day 3" readings here, BDL is one of the few places in the entire region (for this I'll define as all of MA/CT/RI, NY from about Poughkeepsie on down and the northern half of NJ) that actually got to 90 yesterday. A lot of 88's and 89's were out there (for example Danbury above and LaGuardia got to 89). The only other highs of 90+ I could find were Newark Airport and Central Park (and I even question the latter one a tiny bit because the hourly readings simply show several hours of it being stuck on "88", though the NWS claims there was a brief 15 minute or so period during that where it got up to exactly 90.....certainly not impossible but again I note).

Not quite sure I'd say that, it sounds more like it's going to start out similar to the last 3 days, but then we get thunderstorms in the afternoon and/or evening and from then on it's a lot cooler.

Since you mentioned it... Here's something I put together.

Here's a look at some select location past 4 days of max temps.

Arrows are the general direction of storms
Yellow shade are Thunderstorm Watches (Litchfield/Hartford)
Pink outline is SPC discussion that 80% chance of Severe weather
Numbers of course are temps at 12pm

Thanks, I obviously missed a couple of places (though not in CT) that went over 90 yesterday. The 90+ in places like Boston might have happened later in the day after I checked.
