Who are you talking to? I'm assuming me, and I'll have to assure you that you're reading way too far into each of my posts lately. Don't let caps scare you, it was overdramatic on purpose (I thought that much was obvious).

Obvious? On a forum? Seriously? If you type in caps the only assumption someone can make is that you're yelling.

First, was noscript installed before this started? If so did you happen to notice that it updated recently. Usually Firefox will open a window letting you know it's installing updates for add-ons, extensions, etc.
Edit: I am using Noscript 2.3.5 and Firefox 11.0. Hotmail is in my whitelist. I am not having any problems with hotmail when I log in. Check the versions of your software.
FF is in Help/About FF on the FF toolbar.
Noscript is at the top of the menu when you click on the icon.

For Hotmail to properly work, you will have to add all 3 entries I boxed in green.
At work I am using FF 10.x and at home I have version 7.0.1 (I don't allow auto update for FF, search engines or add-ons). I will stick with a version where everything is working the way I like unless an issues surfaces due to a bug or vulnerability.
Oldtimer, I mean toilet, if none of our suggestions helped out, then take a screenshot of the NoScript list after opening Hotmail.com so we can see what it looks like.
As Tek mentioned, check your FF and NoScript version, update as necessary or for testing purpose at least. Also as Kazyn mentioned, a corrupt static data in the cache could jack things up. You could use a temp file cleaner as I mentioned to clear them up or you can do within Firefox.
From the Menu bar on top: Tools > Options
1. First click on Privacy tab and clear out the History and Cookies
2. Then click on Advanced tab then the Network tab down below to clear the cache which would be the likely cause.
