I received this from Hotmail---help!!! (email, server, Windows, click)

Did anyone else get this email? It wants my password. Do you think this is legit and ok to answer?

Don't reply to it!! If they wanted to check if you used your account or not then they would check the date of your last login.

It's spam, do not ever answer an email like this. I have gotton these from hotmail, yahoo, ebay, and paypal. All bogus.

That is what I was thinking. I login multiple times a day---why don't they know that? Should I report it or just delete it?

Absolutely never give out information like this to ANYONE...this is a phishing scam

you should report it - there is a button on the main page to report phishing attempts. That's what this is.

You can forward the e-mail to hotmail at "abuse@hotmail "dot" com. I don't know if hotmail has the headers available to you, but if so, you should copy and paste them after you click on "forward".
