ACC is too weak to do what? Field a MNC contender? Probably will be like that until FSU/Miami get back to their 90s ways.

Not to take away from strides that Mizzou has made and KSU's 90s strides, but Big XII was always a Texas/Oklahoma/Nebraska show. Does anybody really care about the others?

Recruiting- South Florida's Tacoi Sumler, ESPN 150 #6 receiver, announced for the Ducks today. The kid is an absolute burner as he ran a 4.24 40 last week in Portland. That is f***in quick! Although, about 2 inches shorter, I can really see him developing into a Percy Harvin type player. Just to give you an idea just how fast that is, it is faster than Devin Hester, Trindon Holliday, Raghib Ismail, CJ Spiller, Darren McFadden, Jacoby Ford, and Percy Harvin..so yeah, sort of fast.

http://www.6magazineonline.com/2010/...championships/ (click play...and no it is not fast forwarded)

So, if all our verbal commitments stick, which in college ball you never know, check out the potential offensive skill positions (as long as they all develop) we'll have next year:

Jerrard Randall QB (FL)- #11 in nation
LaMichael James RB (TX)-nuff' said
Lache Seastrunk RB (TX)-#3 in nation
Josh Huff RB/WR (TX)-#7 in nation
Dontae Williams RB (TX)- #12 in nation
Tacoi Sumler WR (FL)- #6 in nation

Not to mention Kenyon Barner, who could start for a ton of teams at tailback

The Ducks are really recruiting nationally and are starting to become bigger players for a lot of athletes. If you look at the powerhouse programs, they do the exact same thing. Hopefully we can continue that and a certain NC finds it's way to Eugene in a few years.

Wow you Husker fans have a lot of faith in Zac Lee. I have none. It doesn't matter who wins the North really...Oklahoma steamrolls them.

Former #1 recruit, Bryce Brown, cowers out of Knoxville without meeting with Dooley. His decesions are very similar to the coach who recruited him (Lane Kiffin). Man, what a lil' b***h. I know he contacted Oregon, but Chip Kelly was not interested. Looks like he might be headed back to Kansas to be forgotten at KSU.

Nebbish isn't going to be that great IMO. Did everyone forget that they just lost a once in a lifetime player? They weren't even that great last year, no one from the Big12 was.

Their schedule is beyond pathetic. If they make it to the BIG12 CG, you are right they will get steamrolled. I'm thinking Mizzou wins the North.

I am thinking Nebraska wins the North largely on the fact that they play Mizzou at Lincoln. That game is likely to determine who is the North champion unless some upsets occur elsewhere. The wild-card is if K-State develops faster than expected in Snyder's 2nd year in his return stint.

Zac Lee is a non-issue. The defense will be as good this year even without Suh...the name you will be seeing a lot of this year is Crick. We saw what the offense was capable of against Arizona at the end of last season. Does not matter whether they are led by Lee, Green, or Martinez. I say they beat Texas at home, but drop one on the road, maybe @ Texas A&M. Then they beat Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game. 12-1 heading into a BCS bowl.

GO BIG RED
Sound like a Penn State fan in 1992. They were going to dominate the Big Ten. I think they hove won 5 titles in the 20 years they been here. Really good but not dominating.

Nebraska will be the same. They will win their fair share but anyone that thinks they are going to win title after tilte is delusional.

With Ohio State, Nebraska, Michigan and PSU in the same conference nobody will will win more than 2 straight Big Ten titles. Iowa and Wisconsin can never be counted out either. And Northwestern and Purdue sneak in there and win one ever few years.

The only thing that we can say with certainity is that Indiana, Michigan State and Minnesota will never be in Rose Bowl. Everyone else is perfectly capable of getting there.
