National Title Game= Thee Ohio State 32 Nebraska 24.
Hmmm...Nebraska give up 32 points? Not going to happen. If this matchup does happen, and I do hope it does, it will be more like Nebraska 27, Ohio State 10. A little preview of conference life for the forseeable future. Last year Texas scored 13*, Oklahoma scored 3. The fBuckeyes will be no different.
Nobody had better blast Stanford as long as Jim is there, he'll at least be a thorn in the giants side if not having them be competitive. I think that they could compete for the title at least once every decade if they get something going.
Otherwise, my eyes are mainly on my team Virginia (it's gonna be a tough rebuilding phase, but I have faith in coach London) and North Carolina. If they can get a decent offense going, it should be a banner year in Chapel Hill.
I was thinking about Stanford as well. I am hesitant to pick them though, mainly because of the loss of Gerhart. But the rest of the PAC-10 figures to be way down this year, and I also have trouble picking USC or Oregon due to their problems. Honestly I think it will be between Stanford, Oregon State, and maybe Arizona. And maybe Washington. Or California. Bah, the PAC 10 sucks. I don't think anyone is going to win it this year.

The Pac 10 may be dissapointing, but they won't be BAD ala the MAC. I don't buy all the USC end of days nonsense. It's still USC, question is weither Kiffin can manage them effectively.
To me it's Stanford or Oregon State. Maybe Oregon if they get a good thing going at QB.
Washington (even with Locker) has too many questions, as does UCLA. Arizona should do ok again but I haven't read anything that makes me think they will make huge strides.
Just hope that people won't look down on whoever wins the Pac-10 if it's not USC (oh the Pac 10 was down, so yea it ain't all that impressive)
