My wife is a Jax St grad and we went to the game. It was an amazing and unreal experience. Ole miss isn't very good and Jax st is in the top twenty in the FCS, so I thought it might be closer than expected, but nothing like this.
It was 31-10 at the half and then the Gamecocks began .to chip away. The tied it with a TD and two pointer (having missed a two pointer on the previous touchdown) to send it to OT.
Then there was the 4th and 15 and the game winning conversion.

Indeed it was. I'm only an alum by marriage, but we've been married 16 years and I've been to enough games to make me a fan. She was going to go even if I didn't, but I wanted to go just to see Ole Miss' campus and stadium.
She went to the Florida State game without me last year and they nearly won that one.
Saturday confirmed what I already knew.........a loooong season for the Minnesota Gophers.
They were ranked underdogs to Middle Tennessee State right up until Middle Tennessee State's star quarteback was suspended.
The Gophers looked like they would blow them out with their running game, but the 2nd string quarterback from Middle Tenessee State picked the Gophers' pass defense apart as if he was playing against a high school team.
The Gophers won, but unless their pass defense improves a whole lot, escaping the Big Ten cellar might be a lofty accomplishment.
