i see some new restaurant is giving it a try at that old Pizza Hut building on 10th street. I give it 4 months before it's closed. Why people keep trying restaurants there is unbeknownst to me...destine to fail every time.

With 10th St soon to be the feature road in Greenville I wouldn't mind seeing a re-invention of 10th St from Elm St all the way down eastward through River Bluff apartments. Not a whole lot I'd like to see stay, other than a few random houses and Hastings Ford. Those old strip malls and ancient apartments will never be vital or attractive again.

Wow! That student center looks really great! Much better than the main campus student center. I thought I heard that they were redesigning the other one. Does anyone know what the status is? I'd love to see a rendering of it.
I read it as it's going to be in the new student services building that they are going to build uptown to house registrar, financial aid, cashier...etc. goal is to get all university services off campus I free up facility space and have a one stop shop for students like PCC and a lot of universities have. It's probably at least 5 years out from that opening. On the master plan they put the building in the ECU parking lot across from sup dogs, if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure heritage hall will probably literally be a hallway full of history.
On a side note, I've always wondered why when you go for a tour of ECU, if you are a prospective student, they don't take you off main campus. The north rec complex with the ECU beach and the medical side of campus are impressive, seems like they under utilize their assets to sell the university.
I saw construction started on a building beside the McDonalds and Sheetz across from PittCC. I looked up the website on their sign and I found out that it will be a Starbucks, Sports Clips, and Chipotle along with two more retail spaces.
Was also told Mccallisters might be going there also
