I can not, and will not, argue this point with you. I do not like gloved hands in a food service environment. There are a few specific tasks that I condone the use of gloves, but once that specific job is complete I like to see the gloves come off and the hands washed.
As a food service professional I do not wear gloves and recommend all of my employees to follow the same rule. People become complaisant when wearing gloves. They start to think that just because their hands are covered they do not have to wash them. I like for them to "feel" just how dirty their hands are. My belief is that if they feel or see grime, they will wash their hands. I advocate against gloves in favor of regular, and often, hand washing.
