As far as the "Atlanta is a cosmopolitan city" arguments...Atlanta actually has trailer parks within the city limits. I think that's all that needs to be said.

I've never seen them. As if their existence would make a difference to the city being comsmo anyways.

Atlanta posters--

is phillies' indictment re: trailer parks in city limits true? please confirm or deny, because if true, i see no need for further discussion....

trailer park in city limits would certainly be the trump card IMO.

I didn't even know Atlanta's metro had trailer parks until I ventured out into Barrow County ( that is way out there). Even then it wasn't whole parks of them.

We have trailer parks in the DC suburbs and trailer parks are not just exclusively a southern entitity.

I don't think we can use this metric without dropping quite a few other cities from cosmopolitan status. It is shameful I know, but I regrettably must admit there is one trailer park within Boston's city limits (barely).

No, as far as I know.

Now even though there aren't any in Atlanta city limits (and something I took offense too as they just said that because it lines up with whatever stereotype they have of the South), why would that be a "trump card". As some one said you could find a trailer park within the city limits of Boston. Would a single trailer park in Boston not make it cosmopolitan?

How about Miami where there is no doubt that there are trailer parks in the city limits but dozens upon dozens of them?

Google Maps

^You'll never find anything like that in Atlanta or DC city proper, so I guess Miami isn't cosmopolitan then too, huh?
