For the sixth year in a row, California tops the list of states that Americans would choose to live in if they did not live in the states where they are now. Florida, which was the most popular state in 2001, retains second place on the list and Hawaii is number three, as it was in 2007.
New York City tops the list of cities that people would most like to live in or near, followed by Denver and San Francisco

Wow, if you listen to these forums, you would have thought nobody would want to live in Florida. I guess the reality is different
Go Texas as well
Yes but people live in cities, and Orlando is the only place that made the list and ranked kind of low, and it's strange how the state of Florida ranks high. I'm surprised it was Orlando instead of Miami. But I can't talk...we're #15. LOL.
The list doesn't surprise me. Everyone I know obsesses over NYC, SF, Seattle and San Diego (why, I don't know but whatever). I never hear anyone mention Denver so I'm surprised its so high.
My predictions:
This will turn into an "I told you SF was better than DC and Manhattan" argument.
And people from the cities not on the list will question the validity of this assessment.
And cityboi757 will post 1000 pics of Norfolk. (jk..in case he sees this..I'm only joking).
Someone will question how Atlanta and Nashville made the list and not Charlotte.
BTW, Richmond VA should have made the list LOL.
Anyway, interesting list.

LMAO, the moment I saw this thread I automatically knew it was just a cheeky way to get back at that DC guy and that entire thread.

I'm surprised Montana is on the list (even though its #15).
