I also cant understand why LA showed up so low. I cant tell you how many people tell me they want to move there when I tell them Im from there.
The whole list is a big shock to me. You don't hear much about people wanting to move to Hawaii. New York is extremely low. I deem this list as BS.

NYC is #1. There isn't much in NY State out of NYC except for extreme cold and cows. California has 3 major cities. Hawaii is paradise, everyone loves it.

The LA part is kind of shocking, but reading around this forum people hate LA for whatever reason.

For many people, me included, we would love to live in Hawaii if we could. Hawaii would be harder for me to live in than any place in the lower 48 states by far because of family constraints at the moment

Hawaii isn't seen as a desirable state because of it's location, and also people usually think of NY and NYC as the same thing.

Well, this poll suggests otherwise.

Your right it does, but this is no way in hell accurate. Denver alone being number 2 is questionable.

As popular as LA is,it is also very disliked by many people.I think it's about right on the list. Some cities have so many people moving into them as well as moving away.Like LA,Seattle and Boston. Not saying these cities are loosing in great numbers but they are higher due to them having more financial and weather related reasons not to stay.I may be wrong but it seems that way than some other places on the list.

But I would much prefer Denver to NYC or SF. I guess that is the point to the poll, that there are different preferences for different people

You may want to ask all the people leaving Florida.
