Nobody has still been able to define a NY Hot Dog.

It has 37 votes however. Interesting.

ballpark franks refers to the store bought brand

But I'll take some sit down restaurants, chicken wings, pizza, dip n dots, hot pretzels, nachos, italian sausage, but especially PANINIS! Greatest gift from Cleveland.. Quicken Loans Arena - Dining Options (http://www.theqarena.com/arenainfo/dining.php - broken link)

Quaken Loans arena where the Cavs play has the best food out of any nba facility i've been to.

Because threads like this have absolutely nothing to do with the actual food, it has to do with people voting for their own city and/or favorite city of the two.

It seems like it.

You know the cool thing was that you used to be able to come on this site and learn some very interesting things about cities. Whenever you visited somewhere you could learn out the hidden gems of each city via this website.

Somewhere along the line people just started boosting up thier cities so much that 80% of anything you heard on here was BS.

There's so many interesting cities in this country that its a shame that we seem to try so hard to tear them all down.

I've had plenty in NY.. midtown, downtown and Brooklyn styled ones.
Probably more so than most of these voters.

I mean if it's that hard to find an amazing hot dog, than maybe it's just that hot dogs aren't that great.. shocker? bizarre?

Funny you say that.. I live in NJ.. Sabretts and Nathan are mainstream when it comes to dogs in the grocery store. (unlike the dogs you mentioned which are typical all American dogs)
But i've also had
Sabretts in Manhattan all the way to the Jersey Shore
Nathans in Coney Islands.

Hot Dogs aren't that great when it comes to great food.
Sorry if i offended your guy's love for mystery meat on a bun.

There's more New Yorkers on here than anyone. They are too insecure to vote for another city for anything. So my guess is it was 37 New Yorkers since several of us asked what a NY style dog is and no one could answer. It's from NYC so its automatically better.

The best part is that in threads that talk about safest big cities and then others with most dangerous cities, NYC ends up in both. It's voted safest if that's the topic. It's voted most dangerous if that's the topic. Kind of humorous.
