When did we get on couches and lamps? lol

And I thought New Yorkers bought their furniture at antique flea markets.

NYC has all the best stores, even though the Dallas has alot boutiques they are alot smaller in Dallas than in NYC. The NYC stores offer a more wide variety so you get better selections . Miami metro has more upscale boutiques in the entire South. So I would have put them on that list too

If you read the report, it only has malls that are owned by public companies. South Coast Plaza is owned by the very wealthy and private Segerstrom family. Because it is owned by a private family it isn't on the report. South Coast Plaza's sale volume is reported at $800 per square foot by the family.

The Segerstrom family owned a lima bean farm in Orange County. As development moved south from Los Angeles towards their farm, they built South Coast Plaza into the mega mall that it is today and made millions of dollars. Land owning former farming families that developed their farms or ranches into residential and commercial properties have made a lot of money in Orange County.

I thought Simon owned it. Guess that never was the case.

Yeah, South Coast Plaza is very rare. It is one of the few mega malls, and probably the only one of its size and class, owned by a private family and not a real estate company like Simon.

Also, the following stores report their South Coast Plaza locations as having the most sales: Harry Winston, Tiffany's, Cartier, Calypso Christiane Celle, Montblanc, Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Prada, Dior, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Hermès, and Nordstrom

I think it can safely be said that New York has the best shopping, especially when it comes to high-end boutiques, while Los Angeles comes in close second.

I don't understand why there has been so much arguing on this thread. What is there to argue about?

Uh, home goods and furniture are considered shopping. Shopping isn't just clothes...
