Richmond is at 12. I have only seen 14 for Norfolk, where is the 15th?

For Richmond, the weekly reports and daily incident reports are inconsistent. I get 11 for the weekly and 10 on another source, but there was a murder at a McDonald's that I did not account for.

Do you keep track of each homicide in Norfolk manually?

I just did a recount. I think you decided not to include the one at the 7-Eleven as it may be justified, the kid tried to rob him for his car; or you got confused by the murder-suicide incidents as some of the articles got jumbled up and omitted info.

Cincinnati - 21

This marks the most homicides the city has seen through the first 3 months of the year in over a decade.

They have averaged 14 homicides through March for the past 5 years which includes 2020 and 2021 where the city had 94 homicides in total - a city record.

It’s no coincidence that those two cities are some of the most heavily militarized in the nation, also local law enforcement is supported by numerous Federal agencies with regional HQs based nearby.
