Tony Bennett has also done covers for NY State of Mind and Chicago. He's also more linked to the NYC area. Your point? As it stands, New York, New York has more popularity and recognition than I Left My Heart in San Francisco.

And music is a reflection of culture, as well as power and prestige. Very relevant in the point that NYC is more culturally relevant and powerful than San Francisco.

That's obviously the biggest hit of his career and he lives right on the bay. So please stop posting and taking up precious bandwidth with crappy music!

Awesome. Doesn't change the fact that New York, New York is the bigger hit, is more famous and is the better song. If SF is so great, why aren't there more songs about it. Could it be all those wealthy techies lack culture?
