People get mad over the stupidest things on this site, it is nothing like real life. CD is a world to itself full of trolls and douchebags now. Kinda sad what the site has become lately. Even Facebook has less trolls than CD these days.

Well, in his defense, Philly itself defines both a "Center City," which is more like a downtown, and a "Greater Center City" which is both "Center City" and the area around it, which has an area that is 7.7 square miles. So it's not just him pulling some imaginary definition out of his hat. Chicago also has the Loop, which is the CBD, and the North Michigan Avenue corridor, which many people also consider downtown-ish, and then also the City itself officially designated a "Central Chicago" area for planning purposes that is about 8 square miles. I'd imagine Philly and Chicago aren't the only two cities that have definitions like that for planning purposes that aren't necessarily definitions ordinary people use.

Philly still has Original Colonial neighborhoods and regular Row Home neighborhoods as included as part of its Downtown. That increases size though? These are basically neighborhoods. If other cities counted more that size or at least regular neighborhoods near their downtowns too? Their numbers of residents would increase? Some Greatly.... as if Chicago counted at least this to Lincoln Park in the middle? As part of its Downtown?

INSTEAD...ITS DOWNTOWN OFFICIALLY ENDS. ⤵WHERE THIS PICTURE BEGINS

AS YOU CAN SEE BEYOND THIS PICTURE IS THE ABOVE ⤴ BOTH PICTURES ARE BASICLLY RESIDENTIAL ⤴

It visually proves my point that skylines can go far beyond downtown areas.

If any body has a inferiority complex , it should be you. Philadelphia is a great place to live and work and great things a happening here . University of Penn has developed cures for blood cancer and doing cellu
lar engineering to combat disease and genetic mutations . Children' s Hospital of Philadelphia is the world's leader in finding cures for childhood disease . Twenty percent of all Doctors in the U.S. get there training from the 7 medical schools in Philadelphia . Over 120 colleges and universities in the Philadelphia region including two ivy league schools. World class art museum ect. So what is Tennessee doing that so great ?
