Rapid city, SD

Cheyenne, WY

Fort Collins, CO

Boulder, CO

Salt Lake City, UT

Flaggstaff, Arizona

Which do you think best match the fallowing criteria?:

Must be surrounded by trees or greenery.

Must have little to no humidity, so it doesn't feel above 80 degrees too often.

Lots of average sunshine.

If there's a lot of snow, the plowing services are kept right on top of it.

Within 90 minutes drive of a larger city.

Regular train or greyhound services.

Well if the temperature is 82 degrees, its going to feel like 82 degrees because of the bare humidity. Just about all of the cities you listed do see average highs over 80s.

I'd pick these: Fort Collins, CO; Boulder, CO and Flagstaff, Arizona-- does fit everything but for the 90 mins drive to a larger city (Phoenix) which is around 2.5 hrs.

Based on your criteria, I will go with Flagstaff. No humidity, ho real heat, snow yes, trees yes, sunshine year 'round, and Phoenix is maybe not within 90 minutes, but within a couple hours.

I love Rapid City, but it doesn't meet the last three items on your list.

They are. If you are into the outdoors, it's a great place to live with lots to do.

I applied to a job opening in Ketchum, Idaho. It looks like paradise. Sadly, I didn't get it.

Fort Collins, Colo., meets all of your criteria. Cheyenne, being only about 40 minutes due north of FTC, is brown, dusty and devoid of trees.
