In general, I would say Boston since it's loaded to the brim with Colleges and Universities. You really get that college experience. Dating and making friends would be easier since you can associate w/people from other universities.
If you want to work in technology then they Bay area would be the best suit for you. But if you're a business major then I would try to be around the NYC. If you plan on working in government, you'll probably be better off in DC.
And it's a major oversight to leave the Bay Area out of the choices: Cal, Stanford, UCSF, etc.

Los Angeles is a major player in higher education (with UCLA and USC having gone steadily up in the rankings). The only issue is that Los Angeles does a relatively poor job of retaining its talent, and for brokeass students, mass transit and neighborhood vibrancy in many of the neighborhoods surrounding the aforementioned campuses aren't so great so it often leaves students in a college bubble of sorts.
Los Angeles metro is definitely one of the top places for higher education. Here's some more:
