It's a lot more vibrant than Dallas. Dallas is in landlocked prairie. I would hate living there. I can usually put up with heat but the heat in Texas and Dallas is way too much added in with the ridiculous humidity levels and gross bugs.
Boston has the ocean, closeness to NYC and NJ, history, liberal politics, but most importantly it's not in Texas. I'd move to anywhere on the West Coast and East Coast before I'd move to Texas.
Tomorrow Dallas suppose to have a winter storm. We are going to have freezing rain, sleet, and snow. For the whole week we are going to be below freezing. The lowest temp is going to be 9 degrees. The wind chill is going to be 0 or below. The highest temp is going to be 22 degrees. I wish it was summer!

Plus, its hell lot warmer here than Dallas, I can go out wearing basketball shorts and a light sweater and its all good. I remember the week before Christmas here in Austin, me and a few friends went out to eat, and the restaurant was playing Christmas songs, and I was wearing shorts, and the weather was like 78-82 degrees. It was a weird concept, but that's a winter for you!

The funny thing is I feel like they're bragging about bad stuff at times.
"We have the second most highway miles per capita in the country!"
"We take up more space than Rhode Island and Connecticut combined!"
It's not really something to brag about.
