I have no problem with the 2am last call either, but the entertainment licenses should be extended. Not only would it allow nightclubs to stay open later, but would also ease the demand for cabs as people make their way home.
I think what's more important than that is extending T service hours. There's absolutely no reason the T shouldn't be able to run a semi-hourly service until 3am. The cabs will still be outrageously successful but I want to be able to save myself the $35 cab ride from Canal St to Allston.
