If you like architecture - definitely do a Chicago Architecture River Cruise. They cost about $20 and they go all day long from teh boats at Michicago Avenue and The River. The Chicago Architecture Foundation also does walking tours downtown and in different neighborhoods.

Also check the city calendar to see what events are going on while you are here. There are festivals, fairs, concerts, etc. all summer-long in Chicago. A lot of it is kid-friendly too. I hope you have fun!

That's a great idea!! I will do that. We are so looking forward to it. First Vaca away from the rug rats in years!! I think I will look forward to the move. I love Denver and Colorado, but it is too small for us. We are going to try to stay at a hotel in the Downtown area. This is going to be fun!!!!!!
