Heya Chicago!

Well, I just moved to the Lakeview area yesterday. I'm from Tampa Florida.

Now, I knew that Chicago was a cold place. I have even been here in January to witness it.

I truly wasn't expecting below 50 degrees in June though. Is this common? Am I going to have to deal with this weather all Summer? I was really looking forward to living here, but if this is the norm, I might have to rethink signing a 6 month lease. (I am monthly now)

This is way below normal. Should be in the mid 70s and Heavenly. Did you forget last weekend already? lol THAT was normal, today is NOT.

I kind of like it, minus the rain. It's good for sleeping at night.

Absolutely. I mean, cmon, no A/C nor heat is needed. Whats not to like? lol My FIL's A/C bill in May in AZ was probably several hundred dollars again.

Isn't it still spring? It should be warmer by the mid month, but don't worry the heat will be here by July, you can count on it!

I am in agreement with liking this weather minus the rain. I have no AC in my place so every day that it doesn't get above 80 is a good day in my book. At least the nights are usually temperate even on hot days so it isn't so bad. Though we definitely get a few nights when it stays well above 80 until dawn.
