Huh?
I would say Joe Lieberman is much more of a Liberal Republican than a Conservative Democrat. Get it now? I guess not.

Where exactly is K-town? I know keeler is part of it but I believe it is way south of division. Perhaps not. Please let me know.
Yep. North Lawndale. Kedvale. Karlov, Kenneth, Kostner, Knox, Kildare, etc.

This is called debating opinions. Just because you don't find it interesting any longer doesn't mean it should be closed. Personally, I'm enjoying the debate and like to hear how others thoughts/opinions differ from mine.

Actually, aragx is right. Keep it related to Chicago or it will be moved to the political forum.

Politics belong in the Politics forum- you can read the Terms of Service if you'd like: Terms of Service - City-Data Forum

The key line to me being this one:
Quote:
All posts unrelated to local matters will be deleted or moved. Threads dealing with controversial topics that often degenerate into flame wars, such as politics or religion, may be moved, closed, or deleted by moderators at their discretion without any warning to the participants.
I don't think that means that every time we argue or disagree a thread should be closed, but I do think it means that this political talk on the state of the welfare system and the American family, is clearly political in nature and as such doesn't belong here anymore.

There is notjing wrong with welfare families. We are Americans and our country should help us if we need it. I'm sure if you needed it you would take it too.
