I love gloomy, cloudy, cool, rainy days.

Makes me feel happy.

I like overcast days because I can see better. Bettwe we should worry about the forcasted 6-12" of snow that is supposed to dump on Denver sometime after midnight 09/14/09. It is hard to say how much if any will blow into the fields that haven't been harvested yet. .

Actually, there is a correlation violence tends to increase in summer due to heat. Ghettos are short on air conditioning leading to an increase in violence there.

Same. I like wearing fall clothing as well!

Definitely. I'd feel horrible about the weather if I lived in Englewood. My neighborhood is gray and depressing, and so is the sky overhead...can get a little overwhelming.

Nice job! You came up with a clever way to get people to open this thread and read your biased, uninformed opinion about crime and the state of life in Chicago.

Now please leave this forum forever.

Seeing that we havent had a single snowflake yet (which is normal), and other areas of the country which have supposedly "nicer weather" (ie Denver, New England, etc) are being flooded in heavy rains and yes, even blizzards, I dont see any reason to complain. The other weekend we were out in short sleeves and the Patriots/Titans game was getting 4-5" of snow. Or the Great Plains states and mountain states have already received several snowfalls and freezing rain. And states like MT/ID/etc have had many nights with temps down to 0 degrees and below!!!

Quit complaining!!!!!

I actually look forward to the darker days of fall and winter. It makes it easier to curl up inside and relax instead of "feeling bad you aren't outside enjoying the weather".

I love the change of seasons we get here.

Winter is my favorite season. I'm not a big fan of cloudy gray weather, but its a prelude to snow, which I love. Bring it on!

Yes. By February I can barely drag myself out of bed in the morning. I have no problems with cold and snow. It's just the relentless gray skies that get to me.
