I don't think either city is stressful if you're the kind of person who likes cities. I think Chicago is "slower" (slightly) but also has a stricter code of etiquette and more of a "blend in/fit in" type of culture, so which one is more stressful depends on your perspective.

Agree. Way more weirdos & Lady Gaga type chicks running around NYC. The people watching in NYC is unparalleled & Chicago does not come close in this respect. Whether this is a good thing or bad thing probably depends on your perspective.
