Yes. My sentiments exactly. The pulse of the street is not in one place. Its in the neighborhoods... People just need to get out and explore them more and not be subject to false preconceived notions, but remain street smart about their conduct. For ex. a skater in L.A. can get a different feel for different places in different hoods. Or, taking the subway or public transportation and see the different characters of the 5 major buroughs of NYC. Or... take the El and stop by a block party at the one or a few of the original 77 community areas of the city of chicago. One of them is bound to have a live band or something like that in the Summer. or at least something good cookin... especially around now since academics are starting again and many "last times" parties too...
