You would have been better off going to City Vs City. You should try that.

Why did you want to know anyway?

Well, I have a brother Who goes back and forth from Denver to Chicago..and he says that they are somewhat similar, only that Chicago is MUCH larger and alot more international. just wanted to get some people from Chicagos perspective (I've never been to chicago).

Also,i would have went to city vs city...but people from those threads just end up bashing both cities in the end.

Your brother's second point is a result of the first. I would suggest to visit sometime and get a feel of it for yourself. And I still suggest to try this in City Vs. City even though you do get people who will do that.

They both have suburbs named Aurora that are pretty large towns in and of themselves.

Seriously, however... Although I like and appreciate Denver for what it is, I just don't see much similarity to Chicago.

Wait a minute.. Hold the phone. Why are people assuming that Chicago having a much higher black population than Denver is supposed to be a bad thing? Maybe it's a good thing. Because, you know, the GREAT American cities are diverse and are less than 63% non-Hispanic white unlike Denver.

I certainly don't think it's a bad thing for Chicago. I love the diversity. And lack of diversity is one of the things I didn't like about Denver. Although the metro area may have a higher % of African-American population, I volunteered in NW Denver for political campaigns and seriously, there was ONE AA woman, and that was it. It was white and Latino and nothing else, nada.

^ Do you Seriously think that most cities are going to be filled with black people? White is the main race in the USA. I don't understand why people are only getting on Denver because its not as diverse. I'm black, live in a pretty "white" area, and its not like I don't see AA people. I survive perfectly fine here

Some of you guys are being to bias to look past Diversity.
