Generally I do not like to see 22"s on classics, but this car looks great with them.
Yeah, I think this size is just big enough. And not every car can wear the 'big shoes' and still look cool.
This is one of the few. Its not illegal and doesnt look anywhere near as retarded as the 13 inch 'Classics'
I saw on a Fleetwood in Whittier.
The only reason to put big wheels on any car is to clear big brakes. Once you exceed the size of the largest brakes you can use then the car becomes a cartoon car. The only thing missing from this car are Steer horns on the hood and a gold plated grill. Put Bozo the clown driving and you will be the star of any circus.
Whoever owns this car should be ashamed of themselves for putting this garbage on the road.
I know some will like this car because I have seen other goofy looking cars just like this.
Nice looking car but the wheels screw it up completely.
I would of went with a 18x7 front and 18X 9.5 rear with American Racing Torq Thrust II and went to a stop-tech big brake kit but as long as you like them it's your choice and don't care what others think it is your car and eveyone has diffrent tastes
lol, I guess its a hit an mix with this crowd. I come to the conclusion that the older crowd are for stock rallies or no bigger than 18''. The younger crowd is okay with the big diameter wheels if it the right fit and style. I have got some positive feedback from a few local older guys, so all isn't lost, lol..
The stagger fit and stance is what draws people in. People are amazed as how we got a 22''x11'' wheel on the rear with a massive wide track 295/25/22 tire tuck in quite nice. The 22'' wheels give this car a custom modern look that some can appreciate or should I say stomach. Even with the 22''x9.5 up front the car has 2'' drop springs to even out the look. The positive news is that I'm invited to show my car in the Dub Car Show in Chicago this summer. Thanks for the positive feedback along with the bad ones.

Agreed. I like 19+ inch wheels on newer cars but classics like much better with a lower diameter wheel. The width of the 22's is impressive but the package as whole looks pretty ghetto.

That's a good look and combined with some 13- 14" discs all the way around, you would have a classic car that not only looks updated without being outlandish but could also stop.
