This is the only NCRA-approved school in NC, and I couldn't find any National Verbatim Reporters Association (voicewriting schools) on their site.
If you have any questions about reporting in general, I'd be happy to answer them. I'm a machine writer currently living in Seattle but relocating to Charlotte.
Does anyone know of the closest court reporting schools? I am having heck of a time researching this and any information is greatly appreciated. TIA
I don't know about the schools but received a tour of the courthouse and a district courtroom. The courtrooms actually record everything and they do not employ court reporters. I kind of thought you would like to know that you will probably not find a job working at the courthouse. I do understand that there are other avenues but the courthouse is very doubtful...
