Hi Frank! Yes, we do have Netflix and use it regularly. I actually use it right on my computer a lot. Just watched a wonderful detective series this week.
I agree - a great way to fill in the gaps. The programs I have to "scratch around" to find are such things as Madmen, The Closer, Covert Affairs, Suits, Army Wives. Luckily, I can find these often as full episodes online. I have no clue what I will do about Madmen as I don't think I will be able to watch those new episodes right away.
I have enjoyed MI6, Weeds, Bones, etc on Netflix - caught up on all the released episodes through Netflix. I never watched any of those shows on TV - got them all on Netflix.
I have checked out all the alternative places to find TV episodes I have missed - and keep searching for new outlets.
Just hate giving up all those movie channels, USA, Lifetime, AMC, A&E, etc. However, I do watch PBS a lot - good stuff there.
SOUTHBOUND - I will check that out! I am not much into vintage TV . . . watched the originals and re-runs back in the B&W TV days, lol. I do occasionally watch a rerun on something like Magnum PI, tho - and of course, I watch the more recent stuff like Law & Order, Frasier, Will & Grace, etc. on occasion.
I am more into finding stuff I missed first go round or keeping current w/ the latest crop of shows I like. And yes, most of this takes place at nite - insomniac that I am, lol.
