Good Day,

My wife and I are planning to relocate to Charlotte in the coming year. When we visited last, we fell in love with the south Charlotte area. But when looking at houses online, we have found several houses that we would be interested in that are located in the Mallard Lake subdivision. This appears to be in the Northeast section of Charlotte - going towards Concord. Does anyone know much about this region? Is the surrounding area as nice as this subdivision seems? How about crime - is it an issue in that vicinity? If you had to compare the area to South Charlotte, how would it fair?

Thank you in advance for any information or opinions!
