Speedways are good stations. But to me a gas station is a gas station. I go wherever it's cheapest. If I want good coffee I go to Tim Horton's or Dunkin Dunut.

Sheetz will change your mind. Take a trip to Charleston or Wheeling.
Yeah, Sheetz is basically a convenience store/restaurant that also sells gas. For the new Scott Depot Sheetz, on the interstate exit convenience signs (food/gas/lodging), the Sheetz sign is actually under the Food sign instead of the Gas one.
I think it is a given that Sheetz has far better food than Go Mart or Speedway or 7-11, however, I would never have thought to say "Nothing is better than Sheetz!"

No, they're good stations and they usually have the best prices. That's why it would be good to have one in Parkersburg, to give Speedway competition. But I doubt they would locate here because it's probably outside their distribution area. I've been to Sheetz a million times. I'm a landscape photographer, and travel one end of the state to the other, all the time. The worst stations, IMO is Go-Mart.
Sheetz hasn't come into the city yet. Scott Depot is about a 10-15min drive from downtown. when Sheetz builds their store in Kanawha City it will be better than One Stop, but for now One Stop is the best and nicest. which would give Sheetz a run for their money anyways.
And today I visited the Sheetz in Scott Depot. It was nice, but I was a lil weirded out by the bank side. LOL
and I asked the girl behind the register about the Kanawha city Sheetz, and she said she didn't know anything about it. But she heard that they might build one off the Nitro exit.
Wow, they are trying to monopolize the I-64 corridor if they build one in Nitro. There is already a Pilot station with Arby's inside of it. So i don't think there is much need for a Sheetz there. Cross Lanes would benefit from one between 5th/3rd Bank and the Big Sandy outlet. That entire side of the interstate laks a convenience store or gas station.
Yes, we need a Sheetz station or two in Parkersburg. I'm surprised one hasn't been come in by now, unless Speedway's monopoly here scares them away. Same deal in Clarksburg, which doesn't have any Sheetz stations either, just the small one in Bridgeport. Love's are also good stations.
Clarksburg is getting a Sheetz. If I'm not mistaken, it will be on Route 19 next to Star Motors.
You know I love Sheetz and think its a great chain, but I'd like to see Go Mart become a better brand and do well. Thats a WV company that has made a name for itself in our state. I would love to see them remodel older locations and continue to build new ones.
