I know you asked this several months ago, but looks like no one answered.

The internet and the web are two completely different technologies. The internet is a large network that basically allows any computer in the world connected to it to communicate with another computer also connected to it.

The web is a a warehouse of information that traverse through via a web browser. It is on the internet network. It's considered a web since majority of the documents in the warehouse creates links to other documents, which in turn link to other documents. This linking can be recursive, loopback, and progressive in nature making a virtual "web" of links/documents.

One thing to note is that the web is only one of the thousands of services on the internet.

A lot of people think the web and internet are synonymous because the web is the only service they use. But they are different things.

I am happy with Sprint. I too left Verizon almost 3 years ago. Glad I did.
