Ya left out SW Missouri which holds the largest chunk of the Ozarks. Now many consider MO to be a Midwestern state and it actually is north of Interstate 44. However, the rest is quite southern. Remember, its governor and much of its legislature tried to secede and join the Confederacy.

Lodi actually struck me as classier than most Central Valley towns...especially with their downtown and all the wineries within just a few miles of town. It is the Central Valley's wine capital. It did not seem hillbilly when I visited.

Almost anyplace within 75-100 miles of Reno,except Lake Tahoe.

That includes:

1) Loyalton
2) Sierraville
3) Doyle
4) Susanville
5) Placerville

I'm about 20 miles from Doyle and Loyalton and it is fairly remote, but once on 89 from Greyeagle South has big money. There's some million dollar places out there.
