Birmingham on list of underappreciated cities | WBMA
That it truly is. Birmingham is like very overlooked because most know very little about it outside of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s. It's unfortunate because my home city is very much a city that is passed over and much more affordable of the Southern booming cities.

Of course I am not a subscriber and can't see the entire story, but this is great news for downtown Birmingham!

The tag says Usablenet (out of New York, LA and London) and Aegis Foundry (from Homewood). Maybe a tech hub downtown will happen sooner rather than later.

Historic tax credits could be on the way back. Every major city in this state needs to push for this legislation to pass in the current session. This will be huge for downtown Birmingham and historic structures all over the state.
