The 2nd gen Supras were legendary cars, the first gen ones were forgettable. Thats one is modified and I would be scared a kid whooped the crap out of it. Lowered is the first sign.. I would not pull the trigger on that one..
Ok guys/gals, I think I found an even better car for me. This one is an original owner car with NO modifications. I have owned 3 of these in the past, and with less than $200 worth of mods (zombie chip, glass pack, cone air filter and boost controller), they have no problems running running a high 13's in the quarter. That is WAY better than the 17's my Escort runs. I bet I can get this for under $2,000 too. I am probably going to pull the trigger on this one instead.
A one adult owner, Probe turbo -- that's a great find! If you're driving it from IL, though, during the winter, go south to St. Louis and then west on I-40 as opposed to taking the northern route back to NV.
I know someone who had the MX-6 turbo, second generation, and it was a good car. I think that she had the original MX-6 turbo, too, though I think the second generation had more horsepower. For her, it was the styling that made her replace the first one.
