That's a new one I hadnt heard yet. I have heard of transmission related problems with them however.
I was actually kinda hot to get into one of these when they first came along, the fact that I couldnt get a manual tranny turned me away.

Not yet, but I'll see if an advisor has a digi camara.
Getting a few in here with the interior peeling, especially the steering wheel covers. Might be a big deal as they get older.
Anybody got a peeler out there?
What do you mean "steering wheel cover"? The leather part on the wheel, or the part covering the airbag?
My Chevy minivan has little chips in the steering wheel stereo buttons. I never notice it unless it's at night and the lights underneath shine through them. I thought about dabbing it with a black paint pen.
just bought a new 08 silverado ls exstended cab. with a towing package. well has 1500 miles now, no peeling yet, what problems are the transmissions having.
Both Sierra & Tahoe are slow to change gear(4 speed auto). Also, the Tahoe's tranny temp runs 25-30 degrees higher than Sierra. I think these vehicles really need 5+ gears.
