In Miami-Dade county they have been adding more and more 4-way and 3-way stop signs. When I drive through my fuel consumption has increased by 5%. Of course Miami never does anything that makes sense.

I agree with the blinking red lights in the middle of the night. Last night I was coming home late, and had to stop at the bottom of the freeway offramp. I was so tempted to just run it, but I thought, "With my luck, a cop will catch me." Not three seconds later, a cop drove by! I would have been SO busted. And no, I am not in the habit of running red lights; I even stop when a light is yellow (and usually a car in the lane next to me goes screaming past me, and barely makes it into the intersection before the light is red!).

I would like to have the yellow flash for 1/2 second before the green lights up. This would warn the inattentive that a green light is coming.
That's a good idea. Especially for those of us who drive a standard. Let's me shift to first gear before the light turns
