Yeah, I've heard of that fire. One of my Cadillacs friends mentioned it.
Like you said, there couldn't have been a big demand for Cadillacs w/manual transmissions!

A real rare duck would be to find a '53 with DynaFlow. General Motors tried to "buy back" as many as possible but I bet there are a few lurking in some garage somewhere.
The "megas" at The Barrett-Jackson would go nuts over one of those . . . we could both retire.
