for example, if you buy a regular model TESLA with 19" rims (stock), can you replace the calipers to the colored ones?

There are lots made for all kinds of cars, so it's most likely possible. If you know a shop that can custom fab a mounting bracket, even moreso. Of course you can also paint pretty much any caliper as well if all you are concerned about is the color and not additional performance.

Default Can you put colored brake calipers on any car with disk break?

Yes.

You can also dupe the world into thinking you are rocking a set of bad-ass Brembos for the cost of a couple cans of gloss red Krylon if you mask off you calipers and paint 'em yourself.

They even sell covers for your calipers, if you want to look like a poser.

^ thanks.
yeah, i just like the look. I'd probably get these added to my 70D when i order it. (in order to get the upgrade, you seem to have to order the highest end P85D (or P90D), and that's out of my price range)

You can get replacement calipers for almost any car now. Here is a real deal Brembo kit for Tesla. Might be able to get just the calipers if you don't want the drilled rotors. Expensive, but not as much as the top model.

You need to get special paint to color the calipers.

It HAS to be high heat/caliper paint.

Other paint will chip off and wont last.

If you prep the calipers well enough, the paint can look good.

In quite a few cases.. People can "cross reference" various parts and mix match together.

For example, you can buy a full brake kit made by Brembo or Wildwood for a Volkswagen and spend $5000. OR you can match up stock/OEM parts from an Audi or a Porsche that will easily swap over at a fraction of the price and still give you better braking.

You can have the best brakes in the world and it wont mean anything unless you have good tires. Its all in the tires, and good pads too.

Factory brakes are usually sufficient in most cases besides actual racing and high speed and constant hardcore use and abuse.
