I have a 2005 Odyssey, and I noticed recently that whenever I drive over 60+ mph, the steering wheel shakes/vibrates. At first, I thought it might be the alignment and I replaced all 4 tires last week at Costco. So with new tires/alignment, it is still shaking. Before I bring it to the mechanic, what else might be causing this vibration at high speed?
Alignment does not shake. Don't repeat that mistake again. Alignment pulls to either side or causes uneven tires wear.
I am assuming, BALANCING was actually done?

avoid driving higher than 45 mph until you get a mechanic to check it.

This is what I thought. Maybe you threw a weight off the rim.
Who did the alignment? I know when I use to do them, I would spot most of the worn/bad steering/suspension parts trying to align the thing. Being that its an 05, there could be some worn parts.
Btw, does the steering wheel ONLY vibrates, or entire car vibrates?
Only the steering wheel.
