I've got a 05 Grand Am I just got started again, the battery drained after sitting a month and a half in Wisconsin weather. Today I jumped it, and it spit my CD out and didn't turn on. I hold the power button but no luck.
When I first installed it, I had problems in the morning where it didn't start, so I just pulled the #15 fuse and put it back in, then bam it worked. But that's not the case anymore.
It's not unusual to blow a fuse when jumping a car. When pulling the fuse did you check to make sure it hadn't blown? If the fuse is still good, the next place to check is to see if there is a fuse in the back of the stereo unit (there usually is) and see if it's blown.

I will look into it tomorrow at work. I'm just a mechanic in the training here lol
Many after market radios have inline fuses as well. So it is possible to blow a fuse on the fuse block or the one inline.
