Watched the first several episodes of season 2 of "Drive To Survive" on Netflix last night - covers a lot of Hass, Red Bull (I had no idea of Albon's "family drama"), Renault. Last year it was organized by race, this year it seems like they've taken the first half of the season (so far) and focused on several teams over those races.

Driving or working for Gunter Steiner, I have to say that you clearly know when he is displeased with you, in short, forthright sentences. Although there is an amusing bit between Steiner and Toto Wolfe ahead of some meeting or other. The segment on Niki Lauda's death and how it affected Mercedes and Hamilton and Wolf is great.

A lot of clips of drivers swearing and then saying "Oh, I am sure Netflix will beep that out" - or not.

Next episode (Ep #7) is supposed to be about Ferrari and some of their issues.

Sad but not a surprise. I think many of the European races might also be canceled or held without spectators. I think the 2020 championship could end up being the shortest one in decades.

BBC and SkySports are still sticking to the "canceled" story, a couple other F1 sites have walked it back. I think P1 is in 4 hours, they seem to be cutting it pretty close.

I'm in Australia. listening to the Victorian Premier speaking live. He has announced that - if the Aus GP goes ahead - it will do so without spectators. He said it's not up to him to cancel the race itself - race authorities will make an announcement about that within the hour.

All F1 activities at Melbourne now cancelled. Just came through a minute ago. Some say Vettel and Hamilton have already flown out of Australia and Verstappen leaving within a couple of hours. Have heard nothing so far about all the support races.

Maybe the first race will be in Baku or Montréal?

If the coronavirus situation causes a worldwide recession, it will probably massively affect the 2021 F1 season.

Haas was talking of possibly dropping out even before this happened. Will Williams survive? Other small teams? I can even see the higher-ups at Mercedes saying we can no longer afford this huge expense.

Virtual Grand Prix will stream instead of the canceled races, beginning 3/21 with the Virtual Bahrain GP.
