Carlos Sainz to Ferrari, Daniel Ricciardo to McLaren

It makes sense, although I prefer Ricciardo as a person. Sainz jr is only 25 and had an impressive season last year.

Mattia Binotto on hiring Sainz jr:
"Sainz is a great addition. He is very smart. Young, very young, but he has participated in five seasons in the past.
"He is a strong, reliable driver that collects many championship points during races and I believe that, for us, he is a great driver to be paired to the pure talent of Charles [Leclerc] so that he can grow and win."
So Carlos is officially a number two driver - and that is ten months before he has even raced. That is quite disheartening.

I do not mind two races at Red Bull Ring. It is a fun track.

I'm happy to see Silverstone, Spa, and Monza in the line-up.

It's great to see cars back on the track, but I'm starting to miss the not-woke, no BS, Bernie Ecclestone.

Qualifying:

Bottas a second faster than Leclerc. I think Ferrari is going to struggle this season. Impressive results by Norris and Perez

Great, eventfult race. Excellent driving by Norris and Leclerc. I loved that Bottas managed to beat LH.

Vettel, please retire already. It is embarrassing to watch

Great to see McLaren on the upswing, fine drive by Norris through the chaos.
