This summer hasn't seemed as bad to me as the last couple. Electric bills have been lower as well.

Intellicast - Austin Weather Report in Texas (78723)

And that site shows two (or three, counting today) as 100, the rest below 100. And only one of the sub-100 days is 99.

KVUE has one 100 degree day over the next 7:
http://www.kvue.com/weather/7day

The Statesman has today and tomorrow at 100+, then the next three days well below 100.

We could just wait and see . None of these sources seem to agree. Personally, I have found intellicast to be the most accurate, at least for the Austin area, but everyone seems to like Wunderground

Dude. "That" would be the one you like - Weather Underground. Accuweather - the one i linked to - has past the ten days - to the rest of the month. Not a day over 100.

Seen any $30,000,000 trees lately?

What's wrong with weather underground? It has awesome maps and radars and I've found it to be as accurate as any.

You read Jeff Masters blog? It's legit.

Kind of funny to see you complaining about trees being preserved and "it's too hot" at the same time.

How much does an awning cost? 3.1 million buys a lot of shade.

Intellicast - Austin Historic Weather Averages in Texas (78723) Historic records shows that every day in August has had a record high temperature from 103-110. Many of those were set in 1923-25. Apparantly that was our last hottest time period. We can take heart in knowing that there have been many cooler years since.
