Streetman and Weekley, not Newmark.

Avery Ranch has a neighborhood called Highlands...we have a house in Highlands, NC...no confusion here

HH is interesting ; but like so many other neighborhoods with new 'affordable' homes, the driveways will hardly contain one vehicle, let alone two Texas sized trucks; so you end up with vehicles parked on both sides of the narrow streets. Someone referred to that phenomenon as playing Super Mario to get to your own driveway

It will be interesting to watch the development of HH and all the land fronting the soon-to-be-newly-widened 620 along there. The 'connector' leg of O'Connor could prove to be an interesting catalyst for growth.

Won't be hollow no mo' !

I've seen preliminary plans for the extension south of the toll road, slicing through the giant undeveloped 'ranch' near the quarry. THAT will be interesting for those in the area 10-20 years from now!

Surprisingly Streetman is suppose to have some of the better built homes "matchstick" style, so I was surprised to see them skimp on the size and cut of the homes in HH. that model Streetman is very nice, but they only allowed so many floorplans and that hurt that development imo. David Weekly should've done better too. That's a prime spot to be right across the way from the Hostpial. I was hoping for MIllion + homes given the GRAND entrance to the place

Well, considering how fast those homes are selling, sure doesn't look like the community was "hurt" by anything.

And if you want the big ticket homes, they're across the way at Arbor Place.

Don't worry Batwing, those houses will be at a million+ in a few years. lol

I see they have built a new gated back entrance to that 'hood next to the Beck funeral home.

Yeah, the Robinson Ranch has about 6,000 acres remaining. The City of Austin already has dictated how it's going to be developed eventually (via zoning). One of the Robinson brothers was a year behind me at St.Edwards High School in the early '60s.

Good family, and very well off.

The Community Impact paper had this general map of the place last September:

That is one HUGE hunk o' land, neighbor! BTW, we'll be more distant neighbors in a few weeks. Headed a mile west to the town houses @ Parmer. We'll still visit some pups in your 'hood from time to time.
