I just drove down Atlanta Rd today, and I noticed that construction workers are expanding the bridge across the Chattahoochee River. That is exciting since for people commuting along Atlanta Rd / Marietta Blvd hit a bottleneck around the Chattahoochee River.

Yay! The bridge is done. Two lanes each way! Atlantans and Vinings rejoice!

The only time I'm in that area is when we're heading to the Bone Garden, but it should make it easier.

I just did this drive coming from Atlanta Road down into west midtown the other day. So glad that bridge was there and open! (Although it looked like they were still doing a good bit of work on it.) I'm just glad for every additional opportunity to not have to drive on 285 in this city.
