I apologize if this has already been answered, but...

Jackson Street runs parallel to Boulevard, one or two blocks closer to downtown. The bridge goes over Freedom Parkway just before you enter/exit downtown. The bridge is very close to the hospital on Boulevard (Atlanta Medical Center).

That's an extremely popular spot for photography. I see photographers on the bridge almost every evening as I head home from work.

Hey everyone! *waving*

Wow this is a great thread! You all took some great pictures! Atlanta is so beautiful and I am proud to call this my home.

I'm going to have to take some of our neighborhoods this weekend and post them.

Has anyone seen or know where to find a picture of the old Oxford Bookstore on Pharr Road in Buckhead? Thanks! I love all the photos!

Greg, its Sutherland Place (the development). Its right off Dekalb Avenue east of Moreland Avenue.

JPD, thanks for the directions. I'll have to check it out next week . Google Maps was putting west of that location so I never could find it lol

I am loving this thread; the pics are simply beautiful!! I visited Atlanta this past summer & I had a wonderful time! I am considering moving to the Atlanta area within the next year or so; Atlanta's skyline is so much more beautiful than Indianapolis'.

Beautiful photos. One of my favorite views of Buckhead is heading south on GA 400 right after the Glenridge exit heading downhill. I want to get a photo of that so bad!

grindin, you should take a drive down Wieuca Road from behind Phipps. As soon as you cross the bridge over 400, there is a place where you can park on the left. Get out, and walk back to the bridge - the shots of the Buckhead skyline from there will blow your socks off!
