Which cities within within Cowetta and Fayette Counties would you recommend living? Which are middle/upper class, low crime rates? We are relocating to a job in South Atlanta and are looking into buying or renting but want a good area/low crime rate.

Peachtree City if you can afford it. Otherwise, Newnan in Coweta has some very nice areas, and is less suburban.

I would say Peachtree City, Newnan, Fayetteville south of Hwy 92, and Sharpsburg in that order.

Peachtree City, Fayetteville then Sharpsburg. I loved all three but I'd go in that order.

You have picked two great counties for potential places to live. The Tyrone area of Fayette County is also an excellent option.

So, look into:

1. Peachtree City
2. Newnan
3. Sharpsburg
4. Tyrone
5. Fayetteville

The high school clusters would be (going by high school clusters could also make your search easier)--

1. McIntosh (Fayette)
2. Starr's Mill (Fayette)
3. Whitewater (Fayette)
4. Northgate (Coweta)
5. East Coweta (Coweta
6. Newnan (Coweta)
7. Sandy Creek (Fayette)
8. Fayette County (Fayette)

Also, if you are interested in South Metro Atlanta, you should also consider the Union Grove, Ola, and Locust Grove Areas of Henry County. Take a look at the map below:

http://schoolwires.henry.k12.ga.us/c...%202010-11.pdf

The Union Grove, Ola, and Locust Grove Areas will give you the same criteria that you want in Coweta County or Fayette County. And--this part of South Metro Atlanta (Henry County) may be closer to/better fit for the job that you are relocating to. Keep this in mind.

I hope this helps. Good Luck!
