Virginia Highland - Apartment (Atlanta: apartments, to rent, gym)

Hi there,

Myself and my boyfriend are moving to Atlanta for 1 year from the start of April and are looking for the best apartment to rent. My boyfriend went over last week to get a feel for the general areas, and after a lot of research we have decided on the Virginia Highland area.

Our next task is to find an apartment in this area, which is proving more difficult! Our budget for a 1 bedroom is around $1100, and we're looking for somewhere with modern interiors and good amenities close to the Virginia / Highland intersection. Good security is also a must.

Desirable features are leisure facilities such as a gym and/or pool.

I have done hours and hours worth of research on the internet but would really appriciate some insider info on the best apartment blocks in this area. We'd be prepared to pay a little more for something extra special!
